Transfer sms from iphone to android I switched over to a Galaxy Nexus after 4 years with an iphone. I have a lot of old text messages I would like to keep but Im having a hard time transferring them between the phones. I've called a few local cell phone shops but they said they dont know how to do it. Would anyone know how to do this or point me towards someone that would. Thanks |
Use your iphone to text to another phone, then use that other phone to,text to your new android. Only method I can think of |
screenshot your text mesages |
is there a program that can archive sms on the iOS?? |
I've tried something like converting to XSL before and then import to Android Check out this site: iPhone SMS to Android Converter |
is there no phone to phone syncing app? |
Apple can't even use bluetooth to send files. I don't think there will ever b a way for them to sync with other phones |
apple too snobby |

I got this done by using 3rd-party transfer software. I used a hand tool to transfer SMS from iPhone to Android. You can download this tool called Phone Transfer to do such a complicated job. |
Excuse me for being ignorant but what in the world would someone need old texts for? Incriminating evidence against someone? I delete all my text threads every couple of days or so.. Posted via RS Mobile |

If you use Samsung, you can use Samsung Kies to transfer. It will take your iphone backup and convert the data to your android (something like that). I did that when I changed from my ip4 to note2 |
Easiest Solution I actually JUST did this. Theres an app you can download (MyContactsBackup) to your iphone that backs up all your contacts to a .vcf file which you email to yourself. You open that email on your android and it will load all your contacts automatically. |
