new camera won't make your photos instantly better, learn to shoot better is the best improvement =D. Kevin is a great photographer and he knows how to edit. It's not always the camera..unless you're using a cell phone | |

Yeah, technique is the most important factor in photo quality, even learning your camera's functions better would help.

It's true, focus on the basics of framing your photos and working with available lighting. The rest will come from experience. I used a rebel xti for 4 years before upgrading because I didn't feel like I had reached my potential with that camera yet.
