I'm going to monitor the forecast and post/PM the attendees based on the conclusion.
Port Moody forecast is calling for 5-15mm of rain, not "steady" rain but periods of rain. Weather in Port Moody - AccuWeather Forecast for British Columbia Canada says 13mm for the day.

ill still show up unless everyone bails.
5-15mm isnt too bad when you have a decent tree canopy for cover.

In my warm, comfy bed attached to a various collection of appendages that will hold my cup of coffee, looking at miserable rain, where it should be: on the other side of glass.
But have fun!

So, the hike ended up being just T4RAWR and myself. Took a few pictures, but it was fairly steady/moderate rain for most of the hike. Quite a few people on the trail otherwise, though. All in all, a good outing. Warm, but wet. No wet feet, just some damp jackets/pants at least!
Took a couple of pictures to prove that we were there.
Proper footware/jackets. Goretex boots & rain shells and rain covers for our packs and we were good to go.
