He's asking, when the police gives you a warning ticket (no fine), does it come up on the police computer if they search your license? and if yes, how long?

I don't think they do.. I had a warning ticket once, and then I got a violation ticket almost a year later. I checked my driver's abstract and the warning was not on my record. I think warning tickets are just slaps on the wrist, just don't do it again

^ A police database is much different than your ICBC abstract.

^ I dont know and dont have an answer for just how deep the rabbit hole goes. Lets just say, EVERY click on a police computer is recorded. Its a matter of how badly they want to find you.

Question is who, why, and what is searching your name. Is Mcdonalds doing a background check, or is Vancouver Police. Go figure.
