I don't know what type of relationship he has with players in the league, but maybe, just maybe his tweets about the city (which have largely been positive) may actually inform other players that Vancouver isn't just some hellhole backwater city.

He even tweeted that Vancouver should have an NBA team.

went a couple years back... was pretty dead, in a shitty neighbourhood, club had weird layout

i'll have to check out the twangers on saturday night then if rumors are true
