was in an accident

so yesterday on main (near terminal) going southbound, woman pulled out of right lane without checking blind spot (she was in the center lane, changed to right lane, then tried to change back to center lane due to park cars). i was in the center lane, and had to break hard to stop, wobbabled and fell down, she was gonna ride away till i got up and pointed at her.

she stopped, told me sorry etc.

i called into icbc, reported.

today i called icbc back to check, and she ofcourse changed her story.saying i was overtaking her.

however i recorded video of our conversation,,i hope icbc takes note.

(video pulled: sorry will get advice from lawyer first)

skip to .35 sec

my thumb is broken, also injuries to hip, and leg

40 sec on she clearly states, she came back around and didnt see me

1. "I didn't see you there at all"

2. "There were parked cars there so I came back"

3. "If I had seen you there, I would have obviously stopped"

GG

Getting back on your bike with injuries, chasing her down, and taping the convo. Bravo

got word from icbc,

other driver was deemed 100% reponsible. she didnt admint fault, but i guess due to recording she was told that if it went to court she wont stand a chance.

hopefully get repairs done and get back on bike this season.

imprerial or Essential Motorccyle Services

That's great news! Well, maybe not for the girl driver.

next time you can also write a piece of paper saying her fault causes my injury, copy her driver license tell her the sign the whole thing

another proof ontop of recorded video/sound.

she can say that you forced her to write it and that you were better at english than she was etc..and she had no idea what you meant.

Good on you for recording that conversation! Hate people who do things like this.

What did you use and how did you record it? Can't really tell since the video was pulled.

just used my bb to record, i didnt make it obvious to other driver that i was recording, but had it in my hand.

i did end up riding the bike back home after to coquitlam from downtown after the accident. at that time didnt realise my thumb was broken & bike would have been a write off.
