FS: Koni Yellow shocks for Honda S2000

SOLD

I have a set of Koni Yellows from my 2002 Honda S2000. I no longer have the car so these must go! Low mileage on the shocks, they've seen less than 30,000kms of road use.

Adjustable dampers allow you to soften or stiffen up the ride as you see fit. Go comfy, or go sporty, your choice! They will pair up perfectly with those who have lowering springs on their car. These can even lower the car by 0.5" on factory springs too! I previously didn't have a Koni adjustment knob, but now I got one and these shocks will include the knob! alternately, you can adjust the shocks with a pair of pliers as well.

$430obo

People who are comparing these shcks to coilovers should know that most coilovers in the $1000-1200 range will be very stiff. The dampers they use are valved too aggressively for compression. Good for track, terrible for street. Koni yellows have a good increase in compression over stock, but have an almost infinitely adjustable damper rebound. Rebound is what truly gives you grip. A normal to stiffer damper compression allows your damper to actually absorb bumps in the road/track, but rebound will push the suspension stroke back more quickly when stiff so it can prepare for the next bump in the road or track surface.

Combine these shocks with coilover sleeves with spring rates of your choice and some camber plates, you'll have a custom setup with true grip and comfort characteristics!

PS. thread bump! ;)
