New 24-hour hand car wash near west 2nd and quebec

I drove by this on the way to dragonboat practice earlier today. I'm pretty sure it's new as I've never seen it before.

Had a few tubs of towels out front with what looked like Chinese illegal immigrant factory workers folding them.

Anybody try them out?

There are 2 down there. Most certainly neither of which are open 24 hours. That would be business suicide.

I would too, but that doesn't make many people that would. Vancouver post sundown is a ghost town other than granville st on fridays and saturdays, and those people aren't to interested in getting their car washed at that time.

Drive by that place almost everyday on my way to work (if it's the elephant one). Friend used it once said they did an "ok" job. See a lot of expensive cars getting washed frequently. I think most of those small dealers with the 10 Audi's/bmw's on their lot use them.

Always see 5-6 guys there and they all look homeless or just got out of jail. I don't know if I'd go there. :P

The new one in Richmond by Felicos is pretty good. Inside out for $20. 6 people spent like 45 minutes washing my car.

Japanese/Chinese owned. Everyone speaks English.

Since there is no wand wash in all of vancouver, and not all of us have houses/driveways, how do you suggest we do that? I went to the new place I think the OP is talking about. Its about 1/2 a block closer to main and is a bunch of russian(?) dudes. They were nice, did a good job on my car. Just the outside was 14, or inside and out for 20.
