Mock up with my left over superleggeras, 18x8. Felt too lazy to move my other car out of the way to move further back for a full shot. Will get another shot later.

Nothing just wouldn't want to have the same wheels as you there are only a couple of us right now so I rather not rock the exact same wheels

It's mostly aesthetics though.

Here's a good side by side comparison.

Do you guys run staggered on the FRS?

It wouls be much easier to sell my gold RPF1 if FRS owners runs same size all around.

Not staggered. 17x7 et4X all round. At least the wheels are rotatable.

Not sure about the exact offset but it's in the 40s. I read 45 some places and 48 on other forums.

The guy here says 48. which makes me a bit worried now with a et35 for my superleggeras going past the fenders.

i think you'd find it VERY tough to find the correct thread pitch shank wheel nuts to fit toyota rims onto a subaru...

subaru 12x1.25
toyota 12x1.5

the subaru wheel nuts DO NOT hold toyota wheels on safely...

Lol what?

Obviously he will buy proper lug nuts. The wheel doesn't matter. In fact, you can't even screw in a 1.25 into a 1.5...

17x7 with high offset will look like a sunken spaceship. Whats the spec on OEM wheels?

i'm just sayin' he'll prolly have problems finding the proper lug nut... toyota uses flat mounting (shank) for their alloy wheels... most wheel nuts out there are a 60 degree taper (acorn) or a ball seat (honda style)...

it is incredibly unsafe to run acorn nuts to hold a shank mount wheel onto a car... the hole deforms and you run the risk of the wheel coming loose and falling off...

Thanks for the concerns; That's why I love rs. Pulling up google, narfy is referring to this http://www.delica.ca/forum/download/file.php?id=14794
Thanks coz I honestly did not think of this because I've only swapped rims relating to toyota (gt/gts/aftermarket rims).

I assume if we use the same factory scion lugnuts and they hold the gts rims, then problem solved. Otherwise I'll scavenge around for some proper lugnuts (acorn/ball seat)

Also, no brz owners?

no... your FRS is equipped with subaru lug nuts... 12x1.25 thread pitch... toyota shank with washer nuts are 12x1.5 thread pitch and i don't think you'll find nuts that fit your celica wheels in a 12x1.25 thread pitch...

nissan nuts MIGHT fit... i believe they are 12x1.25 shank as well, but i'm not 100% sure...
