unless he goes in a package and we are getting something REALLY good back, i dont see it. he's very responsible defensively and has playmaking capabilities. even though he's a smaller player, he does not play like it. not only has he shown his worth, AV actually trusts him enough to put him on in OT. Tonight, only Burrows, Hansen, and Daniel had more ice time than he did.

on top of that, he's Cap friendly, being still on his entry level contract. we need these players to contribute, that's the only way teams win the cup. AND, he'll be an RFA anyway next season, not like he can walk away, so he's worth more to us.

when kesler comes back, i want to see a Raymond-Schroeder-Kesler line, with Kesler taking faceoffs but playing wing. see how that works out.

I like the team it is now... As long as Schroeder keeps on playing the way he is, he can take hte pressure of Kes to perform offensively and he can focus on getting back to his Selke form.

IMHO though, Kesler is gone after his contract is up.

I just can't see that happening

I guess that situation is how he will rebound from his injury

but really..money talks, if he rebounds anywhere close to his selke year, expect a team to give him $$
