lol @ those in this thread saying Kes should come back as a 3rd liner. Guy is a game changer and makes the whole team better by allowing people to play where they should.
And #AVlogic just pulled off 3 straight road wins with a depleted line up. So I think its time a few of you

Stop using Schroeder on the 4th line. He's a skilled, second line guy, not a grinder.
Quit fucking around on the PP and bomb it from the point. Still loads of bullshit but at least the D is shooting now.
Put Ballard back in the lineup. Well, it happened.
Put Lappy on the 4th not the 2nd and have him troll.
AV didn't do any of these things for the same reasons we suggested but to be fair, the resulting changes are sort of the same.

Even when Kesler is back, allowing people to play where they should doesn't mean anything when you have a solid line's worth of players in the pressbox injured. Who is Kesler supposed to play with on second line? Hansen/Schroeder/Raymond are going good right now, even taking the scoring pressure off the Sedins the last few games. I'd ride them until they go cold. Kesler can still play his PP and PK time, in addition to the '3rd line checker' role. He'll have more than ample opportunity to contribute in those roles, and maybe not break himself until it really counts.
So you're suggesting that anti-#AVlogic has somehow gotten our goalie playing like he was last year, the way he should have been playing, and the whole team to come together and try? And hey look, we got another PP goal today too. I've been saying we need a few bounces to go our way and things look drastically better. But I'm also a realist, we have needs that need addressing to make a serious run and aside from 1 of our goalies, I'm not sure we have much to offer most teams. | |
