Good for the Oilers, I think hes exactly what they need in a coach.

Eakins is good. He's not afraid to play prospects.

Wow, Oilers rattled out that deal pretty quick. They must've given him a load of money and said hey, we have five young superstars...possibly the next Penguins.

thing with Edmonton is if Eakins cant make it work there it will probably be a huge set back in his coaching career with all that talent and you still couldn't get it to go

The problem is, you can't really judge what you want to do if you don't know what position you're in.

We're looking...

1. For a new head coach
2. To trade one of our goal tenders
3. To buyout?

Until we resolve all of the above, we can't really discuss the position of our team with regards to UFA or RFAs.
