I really hope we re-sign Tanev..He's got great potential, has proved to be a reliable piece of the defence and is not expensive |
Not sure if posted yet? Kinda old news Gonchar signed 2 year 10 mil deal with Dallas two days ago |

Talk about going out of the box to hire a new coach. Sportsnet reports that the Canucks are interested in interviewing Kings assistant coach John Stevens. Canucks request to interview Kings' Stevens - Sportsnet.ca |

Really? I thought of Stevens as a front runner. They just couldn't talk to him until the Kings were out. |
Yea, Stevens name has always been in the discussion Posted via RS Mobile |
Out of all the coaches available at this point, I think Stevens is the front runner. He's done great work with the d-core in LA and has cup winning experience. Who else would you guys prefer - Arniel, Ruff, Gulutzan? No thanks. |
Boucher for assistant |
and..... request granted Helene Elliott @helenenothelen 5h Vancouver Canucks have permission to talk to Kings assistant coach John Stevens about their head coaching job. He's a quality guy. Blashill/Stevens/Boucher/Tippett/Ruff |

Renaud Lavoie @RenLavoieRDS Canucks and John Tortorella are talking. Is one of the strong candidates to replace Alain Vigneault. #RDS major lolz will be had when he calls Botchford/Gallagher out [if hes hired] |
Did anyone catch what TEAM was saying about Rollie? They made it sound all controversial? And that he might quit or something. |

Wonder what the #Canucks think of their goalie coach Roland Melanson ripping Carey Price in an article in New Brunswick. Canadiens' former goalie coach says Carey Price has deteriorated Quote:

I thought Eakins would be a good fit here, but also see the appeal of going to Edmonton. However they still have no defense and goaltending, you can't win at this level without either of these components. If I'm an Oilers fan I would be a bit leery of the organization process. How many teams currently have coaching vacancies? How many teams have fired and hired a new head coach within a week's time? Good on MG for sitting this one out and taking his time to find the right guy, even if it means losing a quality candidate. Seems his process is similar to most logical thinking GM's in his position |

If that guy gets the job in Vancouver, all hell will break loose. He is going to drive the talent away. Quote:
Even crazier is the CHL banning European goalies. Xenophobia, meet hockey. |
Fuck Boston. They keep on playing the underdog card, when they're not even a fucking underdog team to begin with! Thought I'd never say this, but go Chicago! |
Torts! He has a great résumé and has a ring. Please sign him |
Boston getting the underdog odds as well Posted via RS Mobile |
From what I understand, Carey Price's issues stem from all the attention he gets in a hockey mad market and the nightlife lifestyle. |
