Chicago didn't take a cup away from us :okay:

- lucic/thornton/chara running around like goons while the refs looked the other way
- boston beat us when it mattered most, game 7 on vancouver ice to get the cup

that pain runs deep. either team winning the cup would have sucked for vancouver fans. i just think the fans picked what they felt was the lesser of two evils.

This is sort of how I feel.

It's all good in celebrating when OUR team wins the cup,
but when we're the ones outside looking in, and just laughing at another team that lost,
not to mention, made it much more farther than we did, seems kind of silly.

Or we can just continue to enjoy riding on the Blackhawks current success, like we're all apparent closet fans of them.

Don't get me wrong, it's not like we shouldn't comment about other games or take jabs at other teams.
But it almost sounds like we just accomplished something big tonight.
When in reality, this game is pretty much meaningless to a Canuck fan.

In the end, who really gives a shit.
We still have don't have a cup. And that's all that matters to me.

I don't give a fuck about Boston, I don't give a fuck about Chicago,
and I sure as hell don't give a fuck about Toronto, a team we haven't played against in the playoffs since 1994.

Although I was hoping for a game 7 that was an incredible way to win the cup. I don't care who won, I just enjoyed the games!

I can cheer for whoever the fuck I want to when the Canucks are out. I have my personal reasons for who I choose to support.

I think anyone else can too and don't need to be judged by those who don't. You do you, I'll do me.

Win or lose, the Canucks are my hockey team. Yes, there have been forgettable years in the team's history. That doesn't stop me for cheering the team of my home town. -cannot support a team from a city that I cannot identify with at all.

If you cheer for another team, when the Canucks are out of the playoffs, it's all good. To each his/her own.

I thought we're canadian and we love hockey being able to cheer for other hockey teams after Canucks are eliminated.

I hate blanket statements like this.

It isn't ALL canuck fans that are these assholes. Just like how it isn't all canuck fans that are rioters.

The few select assholes make the whole group look bad.

Seabrook had a private party in 2010. His dads workplace is next to mine and he stopped by the day it was his turn. Didn't even have it with him to show us or his dad's workplace. I congratulated him and told him would've been cool if we were all to take a pic of the cup next to our cars. haha. So pretty sure he'll have another private party.

i ain't butthurt for the cheering...just surprised at the trash talking.

What does a few internet posters on Revscene saying "Boston doesn't deserve the cup for _____" or "Go Chicago ___" have to do with Seabrook and Keith etc not bringing the cup back to BC?

They have their reasons for having private parties and what not. Some would rather celebrate with their families instead of strangers. Fine by me. Willie Mitchell won the cup with LA and brought it back to BC for the general public when people were "blind trash talking LA" after they knocked the Canucks out.....and yet he still brought it back LOL

Don't see why you're getting so worked up about people wanting/cheering for Chicago to win it and not Boston and what not.
