also pretty disgusted how questionable officiating ruined a great flow to the game. It didn't matter if Detroit held the lead or lost the lead.

Both teams played entertaining hockey and the officiating ruined it.

I would agree with you but I think if it weren't for the penalties it would have been 10 minutes of the Wings running into Chicago's trap over and over.

Not sure why you think the penalty shot was a bad call. Maybe only because a more blatant one wasn't called earlier?

The wings fell apart in the 3rd like they have done on several occasions. They didn't lose the game because of bad calls. You guys are starting to sound like canucks fans in here or something :D

I felt like it was a great game to the end

I feel like it disrupted the pace a bit. Detroit lost the game before all those odd calls anyways. Not counting the penalty shot of course

If they are stupid enough to run into Chicago's trap who's to blame. Is all part of the strategy.

My point was that the game was already boring before the refs started calling shitty tripping penalties... and if anything, the penalties made it more exciting ;)
