Tony, BMac and Taylor were discussing the Luongo situation on TEAM 1040.
All this took place at the draft:
- deal was very close to being done between Vancouver and Toronto
- the trade was presented to Luongo and he asked if Florida was still interested.
- MG said FLA was still interested but not close
- Lou said no to the proposed TO deal and said he wanted to wait for Florida.

800k is a really good contract for redden. Gomez to San jose does not make a lot of sense. Gomez seems like a top six player since I think he's an offensive player? Although he could fill in as 3C until Hertl becomes ready or could play on the wing.
