Does anyone know where they sell cases and screen protectors locally?
I also ran into the same issue with the camera. I was disappointed at first because it looked whited out then realized that the protective film was still there. LOL
Well, that's not true (it's not a pure google thing.) I'm using Google Now as my primary go to on my iPhone and my HTC M8 right now. From what I know, neither of them are Google phones. It's just an app.
I haven't tried Blackberry Assistant so I'll see how I feel about Google Now after I give BB Assistant a try.
I don't use those voice assistant things so it's useless to me. Lol.
Agreed. For the most part they're unnecessary. That's why I like Google NOW because it's a lot more than a Voice Assistant. I'm on a flight every other week and I love that Google Now has my flight tracking information right there, my boarding pass and tells me when to leave for the airport based on live traffic updates.
Pulled this off RFD..so credits to who posted it there..
ordering from BB site and enter code SHOPBBSAVE15.
Get's you 25% off the device.
The normal version is sold out but if search passport you should find the VIP version for the same price which is even better.
I can't speak for BBM on other platforms (i.e. Android / iOS.) Blackberry has been strictly a workhorse for me so beyond BBM/PIN, enterprise e-mail, and it's phone functionality, Blackberry has been a solid performer. BBM'ing people on non-Blackberry devices are only an afterthought for me. Using a Blackberry easily helps me separate my work and personal life and on a personal level, that's important to me.
I tried going on to the other major platforms and it just doesn't do it for me. I have yet to give Microsoft's Windows Phone a spin but as far as work goes, Blackberry comes out on top for me.

I don't see what's wrong with a 3rd party instagram because the only thing that is missing is direct and uploading videos. People build 3rd party applications all the time and sometimes it works better than the company build one. Igrann feels and works way better than androids.
Really considering getting a blackberry because I still miss the keyboard, and because the I-phone never really lived up to its hype. I forget the models but I had a few of the bolds back in the day (9000,9700,9800,9900) the 9700 was the best, the 9900 was the worst and officially turned me off to Blackberry.
I've just heard that app support sucks for Berry, even though their highly publicized merger with android apps. No Instagram is pretty brutal, I know there's an Instagram "like" app but still, way to miss the boat on that one.... people love their selfies. Not to mention that BB10 "over promised and under delivered", and my BBM constantly glitches out. Not much faith left in the company, and I used to be a huge Blackberry fanboi back in the day.
It's not hard to google "instagram apk", download and install. Pretty much works for every app. A lot of the android app incompatibilities seem to be getting resolved in 10.3.1. Been hearing MS Office and OneNote are finally working, two apps I really had wanted to work.
BlackBerry app world is completely dead. Nothing new will come on it, though core apps like FB, Twitter, Cisco etc. will get updated. It's all Android compatibility from here on - it looked kind of like a band-aid approach earlier on but they're starting to work close to native apps in smoothness and compatibility with each upgrade. I don't even download apps from BB World anymore - Android versions of Citrix, Wordpress, NHL gamecentre, flipboard etc. (all apps which at one point were actually in the BB Store) work far better and I wouldn't go back.
Only reason I don't get an Android is because the notification and messaging management system in BB10 can't be beaten, and when you deal with four email accounts (work/academic/personal/project based) and pretty much an account on every social media network there is there's no substitute for the speed and efficiency at which I can manage my personal communications.
