As others have said, the father did what anyone with a brain would have done, whether it was their child or not. I feel terrible for the family, as this is the kind of thing that will follow them for an extremely long time, and likely follow the father and daughter for the rest of their lives.

the little girl probably wont remember it, depends on how those around her deal with the matter, if handled correctly, hopefully, it would be a distant/long forgotten moment

Reading that piqued my interest; How did the guy physically beat another man to DEATH with just his fists?... I find that slightly difficult to believe, that's actually pretty impressive ... Hulk Smash? ... or did he find any sort of weapon, maybe a shovel?
Not that it matters, I'm all for defending my child in that manner too if that ever happened.

I hope the daughter is not too traumatized from these events either ... but if she has trouble forgetting this, at least she can take consolation that her dad is truly a badass and killed a man with his bare hands ... lol I would hate to be that girls boyfriend 13 years later :lol

The human body, while quite resilient in most cases, is also quite fragile and can be pretty badly damaged with nothing more than a couple of well placed punches or kicks. Not that hard to believe, to be honest.

Oh that's interesting ... the dad must be pretty strong ... or the molester didn't even try to defend himself?... did he just let the dad repeatedly hammerfist his brain? I just find it pretty interesting how 1 grown man KILLED another man with his bare hands with a flurry of punches ...

Adrenaline does some crazy things to people when they're jacked up on it. Mix that with rage and you've got yourself a pretty deadly combination. Not sure if they stated how the guy died, but I wouldn't doubt if it was brain related from taking too many knocks to the head.

BTW, off topic but I might be heading to Ebisu soon for a date. Wanna hook me up with anything? :D lol

People have been killed, including professional boxers, by a single blow. Rattle the brain in just the right way and lights out, or from a blind angle you can seperate the brain stem. As Lomac said a father in that situation could have almost superhuman strength given the amount of rage and adrenaline. He probably turned the guys face into mush.

Happy to hear he's not being charged, and good riddance to the piece of shit pedophile.

He's a farmer so my guess is that he has really strong hands and arms. He also punched him in the neck area too.

I'm okay with what the girl's father did in order to protect her from the pervert. The father is being responsible, and removing a threat to his family.

He got enraged like the Hulk and beat up a guy who was molesting a girl. That's fine with me.

-wondering how the daughter was left vulnerable in that barn with the worker.

The fact he was not charged actually slightly restores my faith in the system that I have spent most of my life believing doesn't work.

I am not sure if I completely agree with the verdict. On what basis was the father 'authorized' to use deadly force to take another man's life? To me, it was the adrenaline that was pumping through him that day that he took another man's life. Yes, he showed no motive, nor pretense to killing someone, but did so after all. I believe that would be called manslaughter. He did have other options other than killing the rapist to protect his daughter.

( I am not arguing for the fact of the rapist, personally I believe he got what was coming, but just commenting on how the case went)
