How does that big opening in your front grill stop water getting into the engine bay? I know what your saying, there would be a lot of water, but vehicles aren't that delicate in good shape.

^radiator blocks a good chunk of water. Even hood scoops have some type of water catch and drainage

I thinking more of parking in those torrential downpours that we get nowadays.

Why would that hurt anything? My car has a big vent in the middle of the hood, any collected water steams sometimes but that's it.

Thanks. I hate the look of a completely exposed carbon hood unless maybe it is on a black Supra lol

No issues at all.

The hood was designed in a way that water comes off the hood when it is driven fast because the air is being released from underneath. There is a lip at the bottom of each of the louver(hard to capture in the photos) to help catch some water. Having a water proof hood would defeat the purpose of the hood. I got the hood because I also had an issue of the hood lifting up almost an inch at speed on the road course. With this hood, the problem is effectively eliminated. The hood's primary function is to reduce lift on the front end and extract hot air from the engine bay. This exact hood is used in the Pirreli World Challenge series.

Totally forgot about this thread but let's bring it back from the dead!

Just bought this stubby impact at Home Depot - it's at its regular price $199 but includes a free 2.0Ah battery and charger. Haven't seen it go on sale since it came out late 2018

cheap foam cannon from amazon for my Karcher K series pressure washer.

worked real good... even though I only used regular Turtle Wax ZIPWAX car soap.

the only thing is the foam is super thick to go down the drain...

**sorry, had to film with portrait..hard to hold the phone and spray gun**

If you guys are looking for a Canadian site for euro car parts you can check these guys out. It's a Toronto company but they have a warehouse in Richmond. Shipping is a flat $10.00 and I got it in the advertised 2 business days. Ordered at noon on Tuesday and got it this morning.

They have a oil change package for my car at good price - even lower than what I would have paid from the US

Would it be cheaper if you bought directly in Richmond through Hope Fung on No.5 Road? I don't use Liqui Moly, but I see their ads on craigslist all the time.

ah didn't think of them - but I think I ended up paying pretty much the same for 7L. I usually can't finish 6L in an oil change so I'm not sure why their package has 7L but I'll take it since Hope Fung would be $66 5L + $15 1L (? not sure as they don't list it on their site) + $10 filter

I had a JB4 before, custom tune for the specific mods I run in the car and tuned for our shitty westcoast Canadian gas. I was running the off the shelf maps from the JB4.

Tuner was able to squeeze more power from my mods and the throttle response and power delivery is much smoother. JB4 was fun with the extra power, but now the car feels like a different animal.

I bought a Zeta 3 Japan Edition a couple months back because its been my dream seat for awhile and they're discontinued now. Bride Canada only had 2 left so I had to buy it! It's just sitting in my room though because I'm too scared to put it on my car since it could be difference between a box 1 and 2
