Stereo build Ideas

Hey all, building a new system and I'm looking for ideas.

Its a 1994 k1500 that USED to have over 26,000 worth of stereo from the previous owner. All avi components, avi subs, multiple amps, kicker pods, dvd screens, full phoenix gold fiberglass amplifier enclosure with lighting etc.

But, I'm starting from square 1. I've got a fully dynomated interior, and a box under the rear seat that fits 4 12" subs. So, what to do?? It has 4 PG 12's at the moment wired into a concept 500.1 mono While it sounds "decent"... its not what i'm looking for. I was going to put a "top plate" on the box and run 4 alpine type r's... I've got 3 full sets of component Polk audio's new in the box i'd like to utilize somehow, and a alpine dvd indash.

Where my issue is at is the subs. I already own 3 type r's and whilst trying to keep the budget down.. do I just use my 3 subs or do I buy a 4th. And what to use for an amp. I've got multiple amps, but nothing with good power. I've got a kicker 750.1 and a alpine typeX-m1000, neither of those will have the balls. What should I buy??? and from where???? Id like to keep my amp budget under $600 And do I just replate the box and use it as-if for now, or get it re-done and ported. If anyone's got ideas, lemme know. I'll try and get pics up for wed as i'm on vacation. I'd like the box entirly revamped but I, not going to pay 'big box price" now do I trust any of the local backyard installers.

Once you have pictures up, advice can flow.

Agreed. I'm pretty sure I have judged that truck in IASCA competitions before.

Anyways, you'll need a decent amp that puts out 1500 watts at least to get those subs moving. I'm running over 2300 watts to two Type R's currently and they're taking the power like a champ. Here's the real problem...the impedence load from three subs is going to be a little wonky. Getting a 4th sub will make things a bit more practical. 2000 watts for $600 could be a little tough to come by.
