| please suggest a budget android phone with front facing camera
Used phone
I can afford Sub $200
Samsung galaxy s i9000 can be seen as cheap as $175 in craigslist from time to time
Is there any other android phone would you recommend?
a must criteria:
1. has front camera
2. has huge XDA or other forum support for custom rom

Yeah Galaxy nexus would be your best bet honestly. If huge XDA support is one of your priorities there arent many that will fit that criteria

honestly, spend the extra and get a galaxy nexus. Or if you really insist on a budget,then check out the nexus s. ive owned both and both are solid and have pretty good support on xda. Not sure how much a nexus s is now a days but it is an option

Nexus S would be a good alternative for you. I'm pretty sure it'll be getting jellybean as well. Project Butter should help it out with the lag

I vote Nexus S, sweet little phone, could probably find one for $150, and they are unlocked. I used it for skype video chat all the time and it worked great.

My previous phone was a Nexus S. Great phone. Currently have a Galaxy Nexus. The Nexus S can be had for under 200.

The Nexus Line is where you will find the most support hands down compared to ANY DEVICE on android.

+1 for Nexus S in your budget. It will be getting JellyBean very shortly.
I haven't seen anywhere you can get a brand new S2 for $249. The best deal now would be ~$320

if you can put in a little bit more, galaxy nexus.
either way, you'll meet your requirements and won't be disappointed. i own both, as have many other users in this forum i assume, solid phones. great support
