Your guys' thoughts on the Nexus vs the S3 LTE? I am signing up with Rogers to get the plan, and I have the choice of these two phones.
Right now for the Nexus I get a $50 giftcard, and the phone is free - whereas it's $159 for the S3 and no giftcard.
What do I choose?
EDIT: It is also a choice between LTE and no LTE... I am torn.

Awesome possum.
was paying $65 + $8 CID + HST + $2 Gov't fee = $84 for the same plan.
Called in and asked them how much to cancel. Gave them some BS story about how I'm always in Richmond and Wind's zone limitation works fine for my work/life habits. Threw them the Wind40 plan for comparison.
They immediately throw me to relations and offer me $10 credit til the end of my contract. They also switch me to the $60 plan.
So now i'm paying $60 + $8 CID - $10 Credit + HST = $65
$20 dollar savings for a 20 min call. Well worth it.
Didn't have to resign my contract either.

i got the exact plan as you did but i only got a $5 credit. i received a confirmation email from rogers stating the changes. it says that the caller id is number only. is that the norm? and how much more is it to slap the name feature on there? or should i upgrade it to the iphone value pack and see if i can get more credit added on?

Fido is 50% off everything, whereas Rogers is 40% off the main plan, but not add-ons.

Just switched over to Bell from Wind.
Apparently they only waive off the $35.00 activation fee if you get a new phone, but since I brought in my own phone I get 10% off my bill every month. CID + VM we're an extra $7.00. But with the 10% off I practically get it for free. In total I should be paying around 68 bucks/month.

that's what happened to me when i signed up | I asked about if they waive the cancellation fee, but they don't. But iirc, when this promo first came out I may have seen an ad where they do waive it off. But on the site, promo states there is a one-time $35.00 activation fee.
Maybe I missed out.. |
