| Help me find a home for these puppies!!
So guys, my friend's husky just had puppies! They are not pure bred, but a mix of some sort(not to sure of what mix). They are about 2 months old and they need a home! They won't cost you anything, but just the adoption fee.
Their names are simba and nala.

SPCA background search is all show and honestly toothless.. They take everything on the form face value.. if anyone with grade school level education can fake and adopt any animal.
Private organisation like VOKRA etc do a much better job, at least they follow up.
In the end, SPCA sees animals as stats.. private group volunteers at least pay a bit more attention. Quote:

Please don't give them away to the first guys who apply. So many people think its easy to have a pet and end up taking them to the spca.

all pet owners at one point must have had a first pet (at which point, wouldnt have known how difficult it was).... and they all had to learn how to take care of their first pet.

A townhouse, apartment, home with a small backyard is no place for a Husky, they need exercise throughout the day as well as a good 1 hour walk minimum. Quote:

Irresponsible accidental breeding is a huge factor in why shelters are so overpopulated. Quote:

Owners concerned about size almost always do not have the resources to care for such a demanding animal.
There's a reason why large dogs are very common in shelters and small dogs (read: easy to care for) are rare.

Also they are very introverted dogs.
the only time i had a good moment with my aunts husky is when my mom passed away and it slept with me. Other than that it just sought food from me, and would just sit in the room.
