Shoes Question

I am starting a casual shoes outlet and need to purchase the latest design. A friend asked me to search online for the latest designs but I’m not sure if the internet would have the newest designs. Does someone know whether the designs on the internet are up to par with market designs?

If u can't even tell what's the latest fashion or what style is in ATM I don't think your business will be very successful.

My advice is to save your money and think about your business plan.

Drop the amateur hour and hire a professional purchaser. Research and experience sounds like a waste of money but trust me it is money well spent.

So if 'you' are starting the outlet, why is your friend asking you to search online for the latest designs? Kind of seems like a key aspect of the business.

And, 'Not sure if the internet would have the newest designs'??? Yeah, the internet is usually a few years behind the brick and mortar guys. That's why people don't use the internet to retrieve up to date information, but rather to scrounge up archived periodicals and discontinued publications from the turn of the century.

I generally refer to my trusty encyclopedia Britannica hard copies when I want to find out about the latest happenings in the world. I will check this evening when I get home, and let you know what's happening with shoe design these days. I can send via microfiche if that works.
