7800 Alderbridge Way Hit and Run ~1:40pm - 3:45pm

Putting up signs, talking to other people in the lot today and got a lead. Called the lead and got them to admit it, ALL DEALT WITH HOPEFULLY! Bikes gonna be alright!

Spoiler!

I put this picture outside of spoilers because after the vehicle struck my bike it fell over on the right side. I have minor tiny almost unnoticable scuffs on the usual spots; bar end, clutch, footpeg, muffler. BUT WITHOUT THE FRAME SLIDERS I WOULD BE OUT AN ENTIRE RIGHT SIDE FAIRING. This would cost me 600+ easily. GET FRAME SLIDERS, THEY ARE INVALUABLE. I am so happy that imperial motorcycles pushed me to get the frame sliders when i thought about skimping on them because i spent so much on gear. Learn from my luck![/spoiler]

Your clutch is on the right side?

But anyways, very unlucky. When i park in a stall, I always make sure my bike sticks out so people can see.

internally cried yes. This is my first bike and the only reason i bought it was because it was a killer deal for a 600km bike. it had 600km on it and it was perfect. i owned the bike for less than a month and the first damage to it was not caused by me at all.

made the post for help either witnesses, or hook ups since we are a automotive forum. If you want to bitch about my writing style do so in your little journal so you can vent it out. As with ticket threads on revscene I thought this community is more about helping out each other in the automotive community for our love of machines. but trollface and jack3d obviously are not in revscene for that...

On a side note, dink, i appreciate the tip and the easy mistake you pointed out. made me smirk a little on how clouded my mind was.

Rofl, and on a side note. Why the fuck everyone on revscene so sassy lately huh? The thread "reveal a secret about your work" has so many fight club moments.

damn, that sucks but shit happens.. the damage could have been a lot worse and it only looks like your tail fairing is the only thing really damaged.....
as for parts, check this site online... just insert your make and model etc... and look for the specific part you need.
OEM Parts Microfiche, Motorcycle Parts, ATV Parts, Snowmobile Parts, Watercraft Parts, PWC Parts Honda East Toledo Maumee, OH 1-877-437-1631

They flaked on their word. Now they are suddenly saying they did not do it. So i am still looking for witnesses. Between the time they admitted it till today, i have gathered some evidence that proves they said they did it, but its not solid. Its decent, but not FOR SURE. Its definetly enough to open a case.

Since they admitted it I have been calling them everyday to tell them to give me the licence plate number so i can refer it to ICBC. They kept giving excuses until today i was fed up saying "its a company vehicle, i know you have the licence plate. Ive been patient enough, now it just feels like you are dicking me around". My suspicions are that they took the time to fix up, or part out the damaged parts with the time they delayed. Its a white commercial van, its very easy to go to a scrap yard and find those parts mega cheap.

I am not editing the original post because it shows i edited it at the specific date they admitted it to me.

A lot of revsceners are not here to support me, but those who are rooting for me, wish me luck!

Can't record convos unless they know. Otherwise it's usless in court.

Incorrect, only one party needs to know that they are recording.

Think about that for a sec. That makes no sense what-so-ever. One party? So you're saying I have to know I'm recording when I'm recording because if I forget it becomes illegal?

I'm a little confused.

"Canadian law requires that at least one party in the phone call be aware of the recording.[1] The current government of Canada plans to introduce legislation requiring all telecommunications companies to have the capacity to record and moniter all internet activity and phone calls on demand, a bill known as the Protecting Children from Internet Predators Act.[2]"

So if it's between You and Me, I'm pretty sure you have to know I'm recording.

I would think it means that a 3rd party can't hax0rze into your phone lines and record your calls...or maybe, when a company has its employees talking to customers over the phone, the company has to inform either the employee or the customer that the call is being recorded.

The law requires for at least one party of the conversation to have knowledge of the recording of the phone call. So.. If I call you, and I knowingly record the conversation while you are unaware, it is legal. But... If I call you, and another entity records the conversation... say the police... and we are both unaware of the recording it is illegal. However, there are wiretapping laws that make it legal for the third party to record but that requires a warrant and such.. but that is another topic.
