2013 Honda Accord Sedan and Coupe.

The 2013 Honda Accord Concept - Official Site

Looks so nice, but the rearend of the accord sedan looks exactly like the genesis

hc529 08-08-2012 09:37 AM

Haha i was just talking about part out with my friends, and trade in for 9th gen
Since i saw the spy pic and i love it!

More reason to get the 9th gen

The rear of the sedan's not bad.. don't really like the tail lights on the coupe

Energy 08-08-2012 10:12 AM

Hmm they look like the current ones except with different front and rear ends.

AVS_Racing 08-08-2012 10:39 AM

Meh more interested in the new mazda 6

ilovebacon 08-08-2012 11:02 AM

Dammnnn! That's a nice ass for both sedan and coupe!

GLOW 08-08-2012 11:40 AM

i like the back but not digging the front. might need to see it at diff angles.

TopsyCrett 08-08-2012 11:44 AM

The front of the sedan reminds me of that Lexus Hybrid Hatchback.

Looks awesome though! Hopefully there is a Manual option again.

Acura604 08-08-2012 11:45 AM

wow..very nice.. but i dont get it.. acura skips the front LEDs/rear LEDs while honda gets them. (although these are concept, i'm sure they will have to be on them)

2013 ILX. NO LEDs
2013 RDX. NO LEDs

jmanhas 08-08-2012 12:38 PM

definitely like the sedan more than the coupe this time around..
coupe front end looks civic-ish and cheap

the rear of the sedan has a bit of Hyundai Genesis inspired rear end

:suspicious:

Looks great, but nothing will change my opinion of this generation of Accord. It will always be my favourite.

The headlights remind me of the new Lexus GS headlights.

If they finally bring out Accord Sedan V6 with MT option. This could be a good car.

Harvey Specter 08-08-2012 04:45 PM

My parents needed a car to run around in so they leased an Accord, it ran flawlessly for 4 years, never gave them an issue before they returned it. My only beef was the body flex noise, not sure if every Accord has this issue but it was so annoying.

8th gen sedan only came with lx model 5speed..

SILVERBULL 08-08-2012 06:41 PM

I think this new one looks waayyyy better than the current gen.

!Aznboi128 08-08-2012 06:45 PM

Am I the only one that thinks that Honda looks too normal?

the 9th gen is essentially the same as the 8th with revised front and rear ends, upgraded ICE and thats it....

badboy 08-08-2012 07:06 PM

Nothing special, they need to do some dramatic changes to get back on top like the 8th generation civic.

Yeah, it seems like they are playing it too safe. Going from the 8th gen civic to the 9th was a fail. There wasn't much improvement. Hopefully the Accord is better but Honda seems to be doing the same thing.

Limitless 08-08-2012 07:15 PM

The new sedans look better imo, but I think the previous gen coupe looks better than the new one

i believe that a 6sp mt was available on the V6 coupes only

!Aznboi128 08-08-2012 10:36 PM

For accords from 5th gen and 6th gen where here was a v6 it was only a 4at that kept breaking. 7th gen they had 6mt with v6 models for coupe from 2003-2007 and sedan for 2006-2007. They can be distinguished via a red lettering on the "V6" badge and different wheels. 8th gen they had v6 and manual only for coupe and iirc only from 2011-2012.

The sedan also had the 6MT option but didn't include a lot of the upgrades the coupes had (like larger Acura CL brakes).
