lordco rp 5w40 price is 18.xx CD sells it at 14.99 plus 15%discount if u know who works there WTF is wrong with lordco |
15% is nothing.. Some people get more than 15%. |
With Lordco ... really oil seldom goes on sale. As for accounts. Only a few accounts get deals on oil. If you find a decent performance rep on the counter, they can help out with RP/Redline/Pentosin and Lucas oils. |
^ I stocked up on mobil1 when it went on sale at cambodian tire, so I'm happier since this post :p Lordco reps never let me use any discount code on oil, even if I ask "no point, its oil". I bought a couple liters of synthetic Lucas gear oil from them I run full synthetic and change my oil 2-3x a year w/ a wix filter, which is roughly anywhere from 8,000-15,000kms -- I mostly just started doing it because my engine's notorious for sludge |
I never get a discount on oil either they do give a discount on the filter doesn't really make a difference tho... |
anyone know if the revscene or any "public" accounts we can use work for sure? I've only bought a couple of things at Lordco and every time I did I felt like I was over paying lol. Also, how would I use the account? |
We sell MOTUL, Liqui Moly, Eneos, Pennzoil, and Amsoil |
Have friends that work at Lordco. I routinely save 50-70% on purchases over 200. 30% is the standard discount that everybody gets, its still shit. I usually just stock up at CT when there are sales. |

Walmart has the 4.4L castrol edge with syntec 5w30 and 5w20 on sale for 24$ ! Same price as the states Posted via RS Mobile |
^ nice! Time to load up! For you BMW guys, castrol is what BMW rebrands as their own oil. If you've never worked on your BMW before, buy a top-side oil exchanger, load up on oil when it goes on sale, and do it yourself. It literally takes 5-10 mins with a top side exchanger, and you don't even need to get under your car, what I've started doing since i'm a lazy cunt. |
I thought about putting synthetic in my diesel... Then I realized that it was just all gonna leak out. Shell Rotella ftw. |

I usually just get Mobil1 when I'm there. About $24 for 5 quarts of the regular Mobil1, and just under $27 for their Extended Performance. They also have the Advanced Fuel Economy version which I think is about the same price as the regular Mobil1 synthetic as well. |
for the poster asking about 0w40 you'd save a lot of money buying the oil and changing it out yourself but it takes a lot of money to buy the overhead for a shop and pay the employees and some people prefer to have their oil changed rather then do it them selves. if this helps not all mobile 1 fluid shops are a franchise. they don't all have the same pricing and they usually have different options and promotions at different times. so shop around. for example at the mobil 1 on #101 - 20540 88 Ave Langley it would be about 0w40 5L or less 81.99 bottle charge 25.99 special filter charge 2.99 drain plug gasket 1.99 environmental fee 2.99 top washer fluid free February special $8 off 115.95 + hst (13.92) = 129.87 - February special of $8 = $121.87 |
Garage5, look no further |
Hi there, reviving an old thread I found via search! I am looking to buy 9 Quarts of Redline 0w40 oil. This seems like a specialty oil since I did not see these on shelves at department stores! Any recommendations on places that sell this oil? Discounts? Promo Codes? I just read a thread about using RevScene member accounts at Lordco :) I just checked Amazon and they have 12quarts for 162.73...thats roughly 13.5/quart. First time buying this oil..damn 9 quart oil changes..my car is thirsty! Thanks! |
Buying 12 bottles on Amazon is probably one of the cheaper places. Driver's Edge Autosport carries Redline, but I think it is closer to $16-17 a bottle. |
Try Mopac in Langley or Lordco. Your best bets to find redline oil. Maybe Crappy tire can special order it for you but they won't be cheap. |
