| Laser Printer Recommendation?
Looking to replace my current laser printer.
Requirement:
- Colour laser
- Scanner
- Not extremely large. Suitable size for household usage.
- Under $350
Nice to have:
- Either Ethernet or Wireless
- auto document feeder
It seems like I'm out of luck? All I can find are ones that are either mono laser + scanner.....or inkjet with scanner. Beside the Samsung CLX-3185. Any recommendations? or am I SOL?
Generally looking at specs....inkjet's scanner have better resolution than mono lasers'?
Thanks in advance.

Samsung's low-end colour lasers are garbage.
Keep your eyes open, they go on sale for close to half price on a regular basis. I'd expect you're probably having difficulty finding sales on them right now because it's back-to-school season and all the manufacturers and retailers push the inkjet printers because they're more profitable and easier to sell.

I've had a Samsung low-end laser (or at least what I would call a low-end laser ) since the Winter Olympics and have yet to have any problems with it. Very good on ink consumption, fast and quiet and it looks nice to. The model I have is the Samsung 310N.
However, if you're looking for a scanner w/a laser printer then you are looking for a laser all-in-one. If that is the case, I would recommend you go the route of a Brother product. They are built well and operationally, run great. There's lots of options, keep an eye out for sales as sometimes they go on sale for 50% off.

Problem is there aren't any Brother products out there that's both scanner + colour laser. |
