just started watching dexter a few months back and completely fell in love. glad i finally caught up because now i can finally google up things and not spoil myself...

i almost spoiled myself with the rita thing when i wiki'd her and it said that her role was from 06-10. because of how dumb i was, i never thought much of it until the last moments of season 4 hahah!

im also glad they finally have a decent looking blonde again... lumen was so damn manly..

I still have to finish off season 6, i got bored after watching the first episode but i'll definitely invest some time for it

The twist, if you can call it that, with Isaac was way to predictable. I don't like how it is turning into "you took mine, so I will take yours, now we are even" kinda deal.:ifyouknow:

IMO i think the pacing is going way too fast

it feels like every episode's climax or cliff hanger is an entire season material..

like how Isaak confronted Dexter in episode 4 of this season, id think their confrontation would happen at the last 2 episodes of this year

last night was an awesome episode.. i like how the whole deb/dexter scene turned out..

last scene where deb went 420 even though its not real, but i know that feels

I'm actually quite enjoying this season. It does feel like they're trying to put a bit too much into it, though. Deb/Dexter, Dexter/Hannah, Dexter/Issac, Dexter/LaGuerta... not ot mention all the other random micro subplots they're throwing in there. Previous seasons it's always been maybe half of that, so I think that's what's throwing this season off. Not saying it's a bad thing, but dub.g is kinda right in saying each episode's ending is almost like a season ending's cliffhanger.

I like the Isaac storyline, actually. It's always interesting whenever him and Dexter talk with one another. Sure he's told his "secret" to others in the past, but some how between these two you can actually feel the chemistry and can't help but get pulled into the conversation. The ending monologue to episode 8 was well written and, again, felt like something that could have been used at the end of a season, if not the entire show.

As much as I like Yvonne Strahovski, I'm just having a hard time seeing her in this role. It was easier for me to accept John Lithgow in his role than it is to see Yvonne as Hannah, a serial killer. I keep half expecting Chuck and Morgan (Grimes) to walk onto the set. :lol

you can tell this last episode drew every single aspect together, you have so many angles to look to, so many things revealing. i bet the finale will be epic and will draw us for another season.

Although entertaining, I still laugh at the new characters this season.

I know for sure they will spread the mystery out onto next season regarding the bay harbour butcher. also... Dex is going get in shit for not taking good care of his last kill.

Thank God for Season 8. So I guess the creepy fire investigator isnt the phantom. He's just weird like that..
