Online Clothing sites with free or cheap shipping

so i hear revolveclothing is pretty good
i've only heard of a few like ssense, karmaloop, but never tried them. my friend bought something from karmaloop and he got charged like 20 dollars duty or something.

just wondering if you guys know some good online sites that sell the typical stuff people in vancouver wear (gstar, obey, lacoste ect) or just random brands but with nice looking clothes :P (urbanoutfitters?)

thanks

MLTD has the alot of the same stuff as karma loop. MLTD uses USPS so no huge duty fee but Karmaloop has more selection and is often cheaper after u stack coupon codes, just get it ship to pt. roberts.

Also check out Jacksthread

always google for coupon code for whichever site you choose

They're really hard to find (obviously). Any tips and tricks? Pm if it's real top secret and you don't want too many people knowing

Really thats weird. I ordered 3 times and I didn't have to pay duties any of the 3 times. However my items were under $100

There isn't really a "percentage".

Really depends on what/how much you buy and the value it.

I'm guessing asos doesn't devalue items and mark them as gifts?

Def don't order from karmaloop as DHL will probably tax the hell out of you at the door...

Ironically, most of the vancouver brands being sold online are actually from outside of canada...

i'd just get it locally from blackmarkers or from the local stores around.

tbh, you think local vancouver tax is high, wait till you get your shipment at the door and realize you get charged 40-50 bucks outta nowhere.

but if ur still wanting to go for it, id highly suggest getting a PO box down in the states and just pick it up there, less convenient, but it will save you big bucks

Sometimes they make you pay it up front, but a lot of the times, you get charged a bullshit "brokerage" fee which works out to about 20 bucks if you order over $100 or so. It's basically for a DHL/UPS customs agent to clear your stuff, even though if you order something through the states, say USPS or the British Royal Mail it's done by CBSA. The only time I really get dinged is when my order is over $50, and it's always good to try to use USPS or Royal Mail because they don't charge extra, only duty.

DHL only charges a $10 brokerage fee. The rest of it is duties/taxes for Canada Customs.

The problem with Karmaloop is that some of the brands are shipped from different locations. So I had different packages from the same order ...

ordered a hoodie off Karmaloop once, but I wasn't home so they left a little tag on my door & charged me like ~$20
went to the DHL office in Richmond by the airport to pick my hoodie up and asked what the fuck it was about .. nd the DHL employee said it had something to do with weight
