i think it's more sad to be hating on them for that reason. they're not hurting anyone and are happy doing what they're doing. and some of them actually do know about video games/anime and what they're dressing up as.

I went to pick-up Jessica before the first day. The 15 min walk from her hotel to the convention centre was just her talking about LoL the whole way.
I don't play LoL so I couldn't relate lol.
She also told me how she ditched the dinner we invited her to just to play LoL.
