Is Windows 8 worth updating to? I read a recent performance comparison with W7, and any differences were negligible.

I tried the developer preview when it was released and I'm sure it will be much like Windows 8. It was horrid in my opinion, instead of the traditional Start menu it gave you WP7 like design and I only knew how to use it to a certain extent. I don't think I'm going to ever get Windows 8

Might throw it on my laptop just to check it out
