PC brand, where u bought etc.

i just BSed it all and used a legit email.

they will email you again when you can Download Win8

I don't know when that is.

you will have to download and pay through the PC you wish to upgrade.

Is Windows 8 worth updating to? I read a recent performance comparison with W7, and any differences were negligible.

I tried the developer preview when it was released and I'm sure it will be much like Windows 8. It was horrid in my opinion, instead of the traditional Start menu it gave you WP7 like design and I only knew how to use it to a certain extent. I don't think I'm going to ever get Windows 8
