Some help, (Higher end Wheel of same design)

Hello everybody,

I'm looking for a wheel similar to; Sparco RTT524 Machined w/Anthracite Accent But i want it to be higher end, not gravity cast crap. I'd rather not spend more than 400/wheel, but i may go a bit more of they're perfect. Thanks!
EDIT: And in Silver. No black :)

EDIT 2: Upped my budget.

Vale46Rossi 08-26-2012 07:19 PM

Beggers can't be choosers.

Lowered_Klass 08-26-2012 07:32 PM

You want higher end, but don't want to pay more than $250 a wheel?

Maybe you can luck out on some used wheels?

z3german 08-26-2012 07:54 PM

spend the dough on some quality wheels man, rotational weight savings is worth it. cheap out on other shit.

dared3vil0 08-26-2012 08:54 PM

I didn't realize a grand for a set was cheaping out... I figured it was right in the middle between crap, and ultra high end.. I'm not looking for Vossens, or BBS, Or adv. 1's for a winter wheel... I just want a good, high quality wheel that won't break the bank, and is in a 5 spoke design.

Everymans 08-26-2012 09:02 PM

Then go with the sparco?

I would, But i want something that's silver... Those are machined with a black accent. Suppose i bump my budget up to ~400 a wheel. What do you suggest now?

MindBomber 08-26-2012 09:08 PM

5zigen FNR01-c or Motegi Traklites?

Both good quality, affordable, five spoke wheels.

Thanks, But not quite what i was looking for. I kind of like the "square" spokes.

ree666 08-26-2012 09:15 PM

rpf1's? best bang for buck.

Energy 08-26-2012 09:16 PM

Vossen cv3 starts at around $460?

Otherwise look at the enkei rp03? Pretty similar design to the wheel you posted.

dared3vil0 08-26-2012 09:26 PM

Ah, Vossens. They're awesome to look at, And the CV3's are probably my favorite... But The best price i can find them at locally from a Vossen dealer is 550. Which after tax is 2450. That's almost 800 more than the top end of my budget, And on the others, i really don't like how the bolt area is so rough, I like it when it's just simple holes. Once again though, Thanks for your suggestions! I honestly DO appreciate it.

Energy 08-26-2012 09:28 PM

Yeah I really, really like the cv3s.

HRE p45s? On sale at vividracing for $1440.

Laughing because you're about to hook me up with Vossens at wholesale prices...? Right? :fullofwin:

skyxx 08-26-2012 09:36 PM

maybe :suspicious:

MindBomber 08-26-2012 09:37 PM

Varrstoen's are pretty affordable and fit the TE37 style, they also don't come with ugly universal bolt holes iirc.. not sure how great the quality is though, maybe someone else can chime in

Oooh, those are nice. :ahwow:

EDIT: Yeah, 6 grand for a set...

Energy 08-27-2012 11:25 AM

Oh shit sorry fail on my part!

I thought the $1440 was for a set but those are HREs after all... :okay:

Vale46Rossi 08-27-2012 12:51 PM

^ I'd be all over them if HRE's were 1440 a set.

dared3vil0 08-27-2012 03:18 PM

Yup. Exactly what I was looking for, if those really were 1450 a set, they of already been ordered. LOL

crazyazn 08-27-2012 03:46 PM

Yeah I don't think you're gonna find a QUALITY set of wheels for $1600 unless you get a good deal on a used set. And you can forget about getting forged wheels.

But here a couple that kinda look like what you want: (nope not cheap nor forged)

Advan GT

Advan TCIII

Benz_05TSX 08-27-2012 03:47 PM

If HREs were that cheap, i would've had a couple sets already!

With that budget, it's hard to get something that is not cast. You are looking for forged wheels?
