If you don't mind the work, I'd rather do a bulletin posting in your local university/college and see if they'd want your furniture. I also see some second hand furniture stores near campus that target this market, maybe donate to them. I dunno, CL's probably the last place I'd look if there's no financial gains out of it. |
Charities don't want to deal with furniture because of the potential of bedbugs. |
Post pic of glass table haha, I just might pick it up |
I deal with a lot of good condition furniture at my job daily. I bring them all to the larger charities and its an automatic turn away all of the time. Also from what I've seen, if you place your couch outside your apartment with a free sign on it, the building will fine you. I've seen fines ranging from $150-250 |
i work in the downtown eastside and grab furniture from friends all the time. if you have single beds/frames or desks/dressers/drawers to donate, i'll pick it up from you if your located in vancouver just pm me, thanks |
Charities wont take em cus they dont have the space to sit on em and try to sell em. Its easier for people lookin for cheap furniture to just surf CL than it is to look around at thrift stores. |
PM me. Depending on what you have, I know an organization that could be interested. |
THE OP WILL DELIVER |
Pictures in first post. |
Thats some fancy ass stuff to give away, I envy whoever takes it! |
