FS: Macbook Pro 15" (2008, matte high-res screen) $400

Selling my old Macbook Pro that's just sitting here now that I have the rMBP.

- 2.5GHz Core 2 Duo
- 4GB of RAM
- running Snow Leopard...I can upgrade it to Lion or Mountain Lion if you want. I have both licenses.
- 500GB HD
- matte high resolution (1680x1050...normal is 1440x900 and glossy) LCD.
- comes with the charger...a very new one since my old one was replaced by Apple.

$400

There's a few cosmetic flaws like these wear marks on the paint.

The battery, on the other hand, no longer works at all but you can grab a new one rather cheap on eBay or Craigslist ($150 for a new one at the Apple Store) or you can just use this thing plugged in.

It's still a rather decently quick machine, good for if you're Mac-curious. I enjoyed this laptop so much compared to everything I owned previously that I decided to swap to Mac after using this thing for a week during a conference in Whistler.

I'm flexible on the price but similar laptops go for $500 on CL and I think knocking $100 for the battery is fair. Still...it's just sitting here so make me an offer.
