true. F50 and 288 GTO are harder to find.

Yeppers. In the grand scheme of things, the F40 is not rare. Obvs I've never driven one but I think it gets a lot of hype from Tv shows and what not. There are much much more rare cars than the F40. Hell, any rust bucket Bugatti sitting at the bottom of a lake for 50 years is worth a few million.

Think there is something like 1,200 ish F40's left. If you really think about that for a sec, that's a LOT of cars. Think about how many ppl show up to the RS summer meet, low hundreds? Imagine if those were all F40's, then take that picture and times it by 3 or 4. That's a TON of F40's.

But it is still a little sad to see one more go down the tubes.

F40 gets the hype because of its performance, not necessarily how rare it is.
