Turbonetics T3/T4 turbo

This came with my car when I bought it. I unfortunately do not have the a.r. ratios. There was no specific info provided about it other the it's an oil-cooled T3/T4.

The turbo also may, or may not, require a rebuild. It was diagnosed by a local shop as having a defective exhaust-side oil seal, but I was convinced at the time to have it replaced rather then rebuilt. I had a falling-out with said shop over the work involved in replacing it; to the point where I'm no longer on speaking terms with them unfortunately.

It may or may not have required replacement and may or may not even be defective. Due to the bad experience I had personally, I wouldn't put an intentional mis-diagnosis passed them, simply to sell a new turbo rather then a rebuild. They're also familiar with the a.r. ratios of this unit but unfortunately they did not forward this information on prior to the falling-out. I was told this can be found out by counting the fins and/or contacting Turbonectics. I can also give you the contact info of the shop I dealt with if you want to see if they'll provide you with it.

Included is a new exhaust-side seal that, if you're comfortable, can actually be replaced by yourself without needing to re-balance the whole unit. Otherwise there's no shaft play nor bent fins and ready for install.

$200, call 604-614-3526 (after 4:30pm weekdays)
