What headphones are you using for working out at the gym?

So what kind of headphones are you guys using? Ive broken many sets of headphones which never costs like more than $15 each. But totaling the cost, I could have invested in some higher quality ones.

Excelsis 10-02-2012 03:37 PM

etymotics, don't hear anything when they're in..

Berzerker 10-02-2012 03:40 PM

I use cheap Skull Kandy in ear ones. They fit well, don't fall out, sound great, and block all outside noise. Only cost 30$

Berz out.

Klipsch S4. Had them for over a year and use them at the gym 3-4X a week. It went into the washing machine 4x too (forgetting that the earphones were in my shorts), and still working perfectly.

Slammed the car door onto one of them, still working fine.

your hilarious, failed you and you failed me back. I opened a thread asking what headphones members used for gym. You responded with something that got nothing to do with it and complete random.

But then you edited your post and posted something worthy. Removed the fail I given to you.

I was exactly going for those ones except the newer model Klipsch S4 II. They got New tangle resistant flat cables. But they cost ~$90 while the S4 runs for $~50 on ebay.

Also, thinkin of going for the Shure SE215. Shure SE215 are roughly $100. I jsut dont like it how it goes behind the ear, would be such a hassle taking them off and puttin them back on when ppl talk to you.

Sennheiser 218i's. I love em. Amazon sells them for $39, but when they came out they were $150 easy, and they're good quality, durable and they're highly rated, even if they are a little "old"

iPhone 5 headphones

JVC marshmallows. My favorite for the gym and I have tried and own a number of headphones. Great sound great price. On sale at FS: Search Result - Future Shop

Looks like FS is getting rid of all there quality headphones.

Leopold Stotch 10-03-2012 08:51 AM

Heard good things about. The shure 215k not sure about the shure 215 I wear glasses 75% of the time so I don't like their design. I've used the s4 and I love them. But I find my sennheiser cx300/310s fit better and don't fall out as easily when I'm running.

I hate seeing guys sweat with over ears on... So buy in ears.

Currently fs is clearing out on the sol republic amp and amp hd. I would recommend the HDs as they're quite nice, but they're quite large compared to the rest of the headphones in that price range.

Recon604 10-03-2012 04:40 PM

just got the shure se215, sound clarity is pretty good. Bass is very deep, excellent for working out.
Having a hard time taking them off and puttin them back on, very troublesome.

They dont fall out and cable nvr get into knots

Stealthy 10-03-2012 05:05 PM

MeElectronics M6 for the price of $30 can't go wrong. Perfect bass, sound and isolation.

AzNightmare 10-03-2012 08:34 PM

I recommend MeElectronics. Good brand that doesn't seem to be well known.
(Doesn't even have a wikipedia page...)

red_sir 10-03-2012 08:59 PM

Another vote for MeElectronics. Good headphones that are already decently priced, but on top of that they still have really good sales often.

Got these guys here: Sennheiser Canada Inc. - OMX 680 Sports

http://www.sennheiser.ca/live/prod_i...2029%20jpg.jpg

They teamed with adidas to make them for sports. Fit securely on the ears so you don't have to readjust/have them fall out when moving. Water/sweat proof. Has a volume wheel on the chord with a clip and another additional clamp so you can pin the chord in place so you don't accidentally pull it and destroy your phone.

Recon604 10-15-2012 05:16 PM

got these foam tips (wax guard) for my SE215. Started noticing wax build up in the IEM from sweating in gym

Tx-100 - Comply

I noticed they are more softer and comfortable than the given Shure foam tips. also has wax guard which is a screen that prevents the wax from gettin inside the IEM. Good investment to protect your IEM

you get get them Memory Express http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX38554

instantneedles 10-15-2012 05:37 PM

I'm using the motorola bluetooth headset. Doesn't get in my way for deadlifts and such. Good thing is that you can have your phone a good distance away from you and there would still be a good signal

ryeah 11-09-2012 08:42 PM

Using the new apple Earpods, bass sounds great

kwy 11-11-2012 12:06 AM

$10 Sonys from Wal-Mart. Headphones all seem to die on me eventually, so I don't see the point in spending $X on fancy headphones. Also, I hate in-ear headphones because none of them seem to fit my ears right, especially when you're in the gym and active.

vanle 11-15-2012 09:59 PM

iphone 5 earphones never disappoint

The_Situation 11-15-2012 10:26 PM

still using these over the ear headphones by sony now for over 4 years. paid about 30$ at the time

Simplex123 11-15-2012 10:50 PM

THANK YOU RECON
I didn't even realize there were new S4's! The new tangle free cables make these headphones the best for under $100!! Where did you find it for $90 though? All I see are $99 everywhere.

Meowjin 11-16-2012 11:19 AM

i always lose mine.
