Just briefly skimmed it, but if this is what I think it is, then it looks like this is a huge win for Torontonians and their ability to gather RE info without the use of a realtor. It'll be like the states where you can use sites like Zillow to buy and sell your house.

So it looks like they actually gradually update the data on e-assessment as opposed to updating everything at once when they release new evaluations because we have neighbors who sold in May 2018 and that transaction had been added already

I am not a lawyer, but under Canadian laws, hate speech that targets "identifiable groups" -- ie. any section of the public distinguished by colour, race, religion, ethnic origin or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or mental or physical disability -- is not protected under the freedom of speech.

I’d believe Asians, specifically Chinese are often targets of xenophobia, often in part due to their own expressed disinterest in integrating with Canadian culture, but to think the white devil around here would accept this sort of behaviour is insulting.
Scapegoating rich Chinese investors is commonplace, but the general non Asian Canadian public, government, and general Asian-canadian public are quite well integrated and respectful.

I mean there are a lot of rich people here but unlike the Chinese people don't make themselves a target. What do you expect you are dress in Gucci, Dior, Canada Goose tiffiany etc etc from head to toe and drive some nice super cars but can't park if their life depended on it. Not to mention their attitude others who aren't as rich as they are (They will treat you as a lower class).

^^ I remember watching CBC market place a few years ago. They send several fake potential renters trying to rent from rental company. Each person were different monthly rate for the same apartment and some rental company only shows nicer units to certain people. It was determine people with darker skin color were being charge more and shown crappy place for rent.
