A couple of clients had them do the conveyance this past year, both mentioned it being nearly $1,200 - standard purchase with mortgage registration. In the past, it ranged from $800-1,100 but those two clients were hands on (contacted them repeatedly) so I'm curious if there were additional charges on their file as they didn't mention anything. However Spag & Co. has always been slightly higher than other firms.

I will say that the price difference between notaries and lawyers are virtually identical, usually around $900 for a typical conveyance.

So we had a bunch of events happen yesterday, long story short I ended up buying a house so I'm not going to have to rent, I guess I shouldn't Jinx it as subjects aren't removed yet but that should just be a formality. I feel I slightly overpaid based on market but I don't have buyers remorse we really liked this house and it checked a lot of boxes.

It's not as Baller as Acura604, Fridge won't give me a reach around and there is no bidet or built in bulter but for my family it's a good fit.

In all seriousness though big and mostly private yard (almost 1/4 acre) which is something I really wanted, lots of renovations it's pretty much a new house even though it's 30 years old, baker views, close enough to the kids school, Gas Range & BBQ hookup, Hot Tub, Green House ect.....

Edit: Not sure what I'm doing wrong with images

Great looking house - what part of town?

It looks like a similar age and size to ours - 80s and around 2000sf?

Cloverdale, I believe 1989 was the build date and yeah about 2,300sf which for our family of 3 is probably just right.

Nice place! Cul-de-sac life FTW.

Congrats on not having to rent temporarily and move again. Moving sucks.

100%, and if I'm really lucky I'll win the bid and the company I work for will get the Interior Package for that Hospital. We've probably been involved with 50% of the new Hospitals in Western Canada over the last 10 years so there is a decent chance.

Congrats to you as well! Very pretty.

Pretty much all the new homes are on tiny little lots. Good and bad I suppose. Less yardwork. Lol

When Quasi posted his I checked out my realtor app, and looked at cloverdale. If this wasn’t along a busy road, it’s my dream. Lots of character, huge lot. Just need to squeeze an extra bathroom in there somehow.
