Drivers Abstract

Im handing in a job application...the company has a criteria of information their requesting.

Cover letter, resume, proof of credentials, references, etc...
They also want a drivers abstract...I have a 24 hour alcohol suspension a long time ago before the new laws were pass.

Im hoping my credentials will land me an interview where I'll have my abstract ready and hopefully "wooo" them over.

Should I withhold my drivers abstract until further request.
or be straight up and hand it in right away with everything else?

Thank You.

it's up to you, and if you think they company itself requires one.

you can hand it in with it and when they see it you can explain what happened (or explain before they even ask)

or

(this is what i did) i applied for jobs that need an abstract, mine isnt too perfect , 2 tix and 1 accident, but i withheld giving it to them until they asked for it but then they never did and i still got hired. meh sometimes itll work for you and sometimes it wont

How long ago is long time ago? Driver's abstract will show anything within 5 years time.

Like XplicitLuder said, it's a hit and miss with companies. Some judge you and sometimes they just look at your credentials and what you're capable of bringing the company.
