Corsair H80 question...

So I just picked up the H80 from Memory express.

I have it all setup.. the 2 Fans ive plugged it into my PSU plugs and the pump connectors (3pin and molex) I have plugged it into my MB cpu fan header and PSU molex.

When I plugged the fans into the pump, it didnt seem to spin and read around that if I plugged it into the PSU pins, it will just run at full speed non stop (which is ok with me)

How Do I know if the pump is working and pumping?
The light on the pump is on (which is the fan speed control)

Right now im using Core Temp 1.0 RC3, is this a good one to monitor temps with?

Its been about 30mins and the temps are up in the mid 80's Celsius, is this normal for it to be that high when my system isnt OC's yet?

temps got really high, almost hit 95... i freaked.. shutdown the computer...

I had some Arctic Silver 5, so I though maybe I should use this and see..
I also re-seatted the pump in a different direction...

Temps read high 40's - low 50's.. seems good now.. hopefully it stays this way...

man, im still getting super high temps.. in the 90's

I plugged the 3pin into the 4pin CPU fan header, 2pin molex into the PSU molex. The fans I plugged them into the PSU 3pin header. This was a strange thing, the fans didnt spin when I plugged them into the pump. which was strange because I can see the fan profile light on but doesnt do anything when I press it..

Is there something wrong waith the pump??

Did you adjust the settings in BIOS for the CPU fan to be on max? Pump needs full voltage to work properly

I set the CPU Smart fan to disable, which puts the CPU Fan header at max speed.. plus the fan header pin is only to register the RPM's with the motherboard and doesnt need to be plugged in (according to corsair forums) as the pump draws power through the molex cables..
