Is it just me, or is BMW's DTC system amazing in the snow? I've gone slip and sliding a couple times for fun, and with the DTC on it's literally impossible to lose control of the car under 60km/h even in heavy snow, even with RWD and low-profile all-seasons and tossing the steering wheel from side to side.

Fresh powder is one thing. It's when shit starts to melt and refreezes is when you'll start having problems. The greatest DTC system in the world can't beat physics.

All about the tires and the driver. My 250hp, ko3 fwd econobox kills it in the snow. It made it up to baker in its biggest dump last year, and that was with my coils spun all the way to the bottom. I grew up in alberta though, so driving in heavy snow was a daily thing, not a once every few weeks kinda thing
