need LCA bushings advice
 

ok so time has come to change the bushings on the LCAs off of my 92 civic cx.i figured now is a good time to switch over to Si control arms and a sway bar. so now im having trouble deciding which bushings to buy.

i've done some research but still dont know what the best is when it comes to cost vs. longevity. my car is already lowered and with almost non-existent bushings i cant imagine ride quality being that much worse.lol.

anyways i've been looking at energy suspension, hardrace, and oem (from majestic honda).

a lot of the forums i read were a little bit outdated. apparently there is a ES hyperflex bushing; is that any different than the older ES bushings in terms of the need to regrease them? also how does it compare to OEM and hardrace? do they last as long? my car is never tracked. the most abuse is taking corners a little quick but thats it.

cost wise both ES and hardrace are cheaper than majestic prices. JHPUSA seems to be having a sale on hardrace bushings. anyone bought off of the site?

i figure hardrace is similar to OEM but stiffer considering its hardened rubber rather than polyurethane. what would make my choose one over the other?

anyways if anyone has some insight/reviews that would be greatly appreciated. would like to make a informed purchase pretty soon my car is safer :)

How much would a master kit run me compared to just LCA and control arm bushings? Does es last as long as rubber when driven strictly on the streets?

Front and rear control arm bushings, front and rear shock bushings, front end links, steering rack bushings, transmission shifter stabilizer
bushings (manual transmission only), ball joint and tie rod end boots.

^ really good deal! poly bushings are the only way to go! just a heads up, use lots of grease and torque your bolts in under load! those things will last forever!

the answer would be no. sway bar bushings are all different sizes, so you have to find out what size of bar you have. We can get all the other bushings in rubber usually.

The inner bushings are probably the compliance bushings. I dont think they used that term in 1992

^ i heard that the OEM compliance bushings are fused the metal middle piece inside the bushing. do you know if the ES "inner bushings" have that metal piece as well?

snails: correct me if im wrong but the black bushings dont need to be greased right?
