outlook meeting reminder help!

any lifehacker pros or outlook user , computer guru knows a nifty idea to help me to be more prompt to a meeting?

I am constantly late to a meeting because stupid outlook reminder stays in the background..

I want outlook to send me an email because I am always monitor my inbox for any unread email..
even better if I can configure it to email me multiple times , sort of like a screaming reminder that I have to go.

any idea?

i use outlook all the time and everytime i have a calandar appointment, the box pops up no matter what i'm doing. i have to either click dismiss or snooze for it to go away.

using outlook 2007

edit: if you use exchange - set you phone on LOUD and it'll pop up there too.

That's what I do. It's quite effective at getting my attention.

I'm also using 2007. I have no problems with the alert popping up. It also lights up on the taskbar. I have my iphone sync'd so it goes there too.
