Damn, I had a great time at the Main Street Car Free Day yesterday. That event never fails to amaze me. Neptoon Records with their showcase of local talent, free haircuts, great food (I love Jamaican Patties), etc. Not a beer kind of guy, but a couple of beer stalls. Decent entertainment. Plenty of police and the event was very well organized.
Before the car free event, I discovered that it was Burnaby's annual trunk sale. A perfect day for it. I picked up a few items. A Coca Cola Polar Bear plushie (I collect everything Coca Cola), Dave Dickenson BC Lions Jersey, BC Lions scarf, BC Lions Flag and even a full size Union Jack. Yeah, I'm an Empire Loyalist. The scarf set me back $2 (brand new), $20 for the Lions Replica Jersey (maybe worn once, if at all, by the looks of it). Lions flag $1. Coke Polar Bear $10.00 (new still in bag).
Last week was Commercial Drive Car Free Day. Next week is Denman Street Car Free. Looks like weather is not going to be great. Commercial Drive Car Free was shorter and not as great as previous years. https://globalnews.ca/news/9966377/t...s-main-street/

Best part is you can buy them direct and they supply most local restaurants. The business hours are never the same since it's of course Jamaican time. The Spicy beef is by far my favorite.
I've so been craving cheese Jamaican patties, only place I have ever had them was in Jamaica and wow they were good. I lived on those for a week and didn't even care I had to buy them at the resort hotel LOL

 | Not me, but tiny spy balloon loves to hoard shit. It drives me nuts how she always thinks there’s another use for something instead of throwing it away. No there fucking isn’t. It’s trash. And if you didn’t touch it in 15 years that means you can do without it, so trash again !!!
It’s something about you Guangdong fuckers and your hoarding. Us northern/central China menz don’t understand it.
