how come the losing candidate never seems to run again in future elections? Is it simply because it takes a lot of resources or are there rules in each party that prevents them from running again?

Ronin 11-06-2012 02:49 PM

Some unspecifieds with Romney's plan. He feels like a puppet to me...not someone that has his own opinion about anything. Seems like everything he does is planned and calculated. The only time you get the feeling you're looking at the real Mitt Romney is when he gave that speech about the 47%. Like he believes he's that far above normal folks.

It's embarrassing to the party they are affiliated with if they do. Actually, it's embarrassing in general.

Nixon lost in 1960 against JFK, he ran again and won in '68.

Here we go! Romney wins Kentucky

cliffhanger33 11-06-2012 04:40 PM

Not a Romney fan but I'd really like to see a balancing in the US budget, particulary doing smth about the looming fiscal cliff.

Romney is expected to take those redneck states. Obama will do considerably better when the results come in for midwest, central, and western US.

Carl Johnson 11-06-2012 04:47 PM

^ exactly those are Romney's state from the beginning. if he didn't win them he would've already lost.

cliffhanger33 11-06-2012 04:52 PM

wow romney leads ohio

StylinRed 11-06-2012 04:57 PM

if you look at the live update Obama is leading Ohio but lets keep in mind most states are only reporting 1 or 2% of the votes so far

wait a few more hours to get an accurate result ;)

and as for Ohio the provisional ballots wont be counted until Nov 17 so if its close there they wont know who wins for a couple of weeks ;)

shawnly1000 11-06-2012 04:58 PM

Hoping that's the case and at the end of the night Obama wins
