Fucking city needs more bridges.
Last year they shut the Alex Fraser and the Patullo during morning rush hour due to separate incidents and it took me 4 fucking hours to get from metrotown to nordel.
Also a big fuck you to the guy who decided to inconvenience half the lower mainland at 7:40am. Get the help you need...but still fuck you.
/rant.

UPDATE 11:23 a.m.: Police won't say whether the man shot himself or was shot by officers. The man has been taken to hospital. There's no word on his condition.

Whole place was a mess according to my dad. My dad works at Starlight and when he got there he got turned away by the cops so his boss told him to take the day off.

I saw the 410 bus (22nd Ave Skytrain Station to Delta?) was stuck in traffic on Marine (Westbound). I feel sorry for anyone who wanted to get to work and had a 4hour detour. I would've gotten off and gone home.

its all backed up... BBY area is messed up... I had to backtrack all the way to Knight Bridge... Took me just over 1hr to get to Knight St Bridge from Marine Way...
41st, 49th, imperial, boundary was all backed up in traffic.. Knight st bridge was getting backed up at around 10:40am

Stay away from marine/knight. Huge fire has caused major delays. Been stuck beside a fire truck for the last 40mins
