Actually I tried flan for the first time the other day...way too sweet for my tastes...the consistency just doesn't stack up to the tongyi puddings..I was just getting desparate because I havent had them for like 5 years now

Twinkies honestly aren't even that good. Last year I had to buy a bunch for a theatre production, and I ate a bunch of them. Inside the package they are sweating with some kind of oil to appear moist, and you taste them, and they taste all sweet but there's this weird metallic aftertaste.
I would sooner miss the Hostess Cupcakes, but I've had my fill for a lifetime. Show me a real cupcake from Magnolia Bakery in NYC and I wouldn't think twice.
